The G.E.T.-U.P. Framework

G.E.T.-U.P. is a mindset, not a slogan. Five decisions turn a trial into a testimony.

G: Growth

Learn and adapt. Every challenge carries a lesson you can use.

E: Elevate

Change the mindset. Transformation starts with renewing your mind.

T: Triumph

Reframe the failure. A setback is not a defeat, and it's often the beginning.

U: Unite

Some people, places and things have to go. Build around the ones that move you forward.

P: Purpose

Be intentional and do it in excellence. God will get some glory out of your story.

"Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2

How the five decisions work together

The letters are in order for a reason. You start inside and work outward.

Growth and Elevate are about you. First you ask what the challenge is teaching you. Then you change the way you think, because transformation starts with renewing your mind.

Triumph is the turn. You stop calling the setback a defeat and start treating it as a beginning. The setback is the same. What it means is up to you.

Unite is the hard one. Some people, places and things have to go. You build around the ones that move you forward. This part grows into the keynote Access Granted, Access Denied.

Purpose is where it lands: be intentional, do it in excellence, and let God get some glory out of your story.

Who it is for

Anyone who just got knocked down, and anyone who has been down long enough to get comfortable there. Pastor Richard teaches it from the stage, the pulpit and one-on-one.

Put it to work

Hear it live: see the speaking topics or book Pastor Richard. Want accountability that sticks? Look at Get Up & Stay Up coaching. And remember the line from the stage: on the other side of the test there's a testimony.
